People often get scared of Judo and it’s the fear of getting thrown ;-( But, we will teach you not only how to throw, but how to break fall. Give it a try, you may just love it.
We think learning both together is perfect as they really assist each other, BUT we also know many people have time constraints so if you are limited with time, pick one to start with and then maybe add another.
Yes. There’s not as many as BJJ but there are several a year in Florida and we strongly encourage our Judokas to participate.
Absolutely! We follow the guidelines of USA Judo and IBJJF and offer promotions in both BJJ and Judo.
No you do not need a BJJ and a Judo Gi for classes, we are ok with you wearing either, BUT, if you are competing, you will be required to have the correct Gi for each.
